This book is a love letter to my family and the circumstances that shaped me, and a celebration of meeting my birth mother and learning the truths that made me who I am.
But Girls from Brooklyn isn’t just a memoir or a fictional novel based on a true story—it’s a call to action. It’s a reminder that our stories matter. That healing begins when we speak truth. And that personal growth is possible when we dare to be vulnerable.
